“And do not walk proudly on earth
You can neither pierce the earth,
Nor can you match the mountains in height”
(Do not walk proudly on earth) Do not walk exultantly, exultant with pride and conceit. (You can neither pierce the earth) You will not pierce it and reach its depth with pride.
(Nor can you match the mountains in height) You can not stretch to the height of the hills. This ayah means, we, human, will never attain such ends. It teach us that human has so many limitations and therefore, we should not be arrogant.
